After a two year hiatus, Grenfell Australia Day Ceremony is back on familiar territory in picturesque Taylor Park.
A lions BBQ breakfast from 8am with hot and cold drinks, CWA damper and entertainment by the Grenfell Town Band.
Children’s drawing competitions from 8.30am with great prizes.
Ceremony commences at 9am, with the National anthem by Belinda Day. BYO hat, sunscreen and chair.
In light of the ongoing pandemic health advice and out of an abundance of caution to protect our community, Weddin Shire Council is encouraging all attendees to avoid attending if you are unwell, to socially distance, to consider wearing a mask, to consider signing in with a QR code and to consider refraining from singing the National Anthem.
In the case of wet weather the ceremony will be moved to the Grenfell Bowling Club, Cross Street.
Ambassador is chef Mr David Bitton. Read more about David here.
