Wanda Driscoll and Jennifer Lacey both paint contemporary and abstract paintings with nature their inspiration.
Wanda paints floral, landscape and abstraction in watercolour, oils, Acrylic and mixed media being influenced by her garden ie. flowers, the Australian landscape, and then abstraction.
Jennifer grew up in Cowra and trained as a Visual Arts teacher in Newcastle. She studied painting, drawing, design, ceramics, photography, fibre arts (particularly papermaking), printmaking (screenprinting and etching) and art history and philosophy. Her first exhibition was in 1985 and she resumed art practice several years ago, having spent more than thirty years teaching. In the intervening years she has completed numerous private, school-based and local council graphic design and illustration assignments. Her graphic design can be seen in the Forbes History Trail markers and her artwork has been purchased by collectors across Australia. Jennifer paints mixed media with influences of landscape in contemporary and abstract styles.
