by Kathleen McCue & Catherine Mackay.

Kathleen and Catherine met at the Henry Lawson Festival 2019 and immediately felt a common kindred spirit and decided to exhibit together.

For Kathleen McCue art is equal to breathing, a life force and daily habit. Variety is important, working with mediums which feed the soul and create excitement and joy. A love of flora and fauna inspires each piece from memories of a childhood spent at Mangrove Mountain, NSW.
Kathleen also showcases her art in her own bespoke gallery, Patina Gallery Grenfell.

Cath Mackay has enjoyed painting and drawing from a young age. She has a love of nature which inspires her to create with watercolour, mixed media, ink, silk and other textile arts. She enjoys using a varied colour palette and detail in her work.
Cath also has a passion to create mosaic pieces, soft stone sculptures and capturing unusual images with photography.
