Grenfell Gold Fest

The Grenfell Gold Fest is back this year
and promises to be an entertaining day for locals and visitors alike!

This year, the Grenfell Gold Fest will be held on Saturday the 26th of October.

The upper end of Main St will be closed during the day with re-enactments and artefact displays. The Grenfell Gold Fest is a "Gold Trails" Event.

Festival Highlights (from the 2012 Gold Fest)

Live music on Main Street from the band "Battlers' Ballad".

Blacksmith demonstration and leather whip making demonstration.

Australian Heritage Dancers

Bush Dancers Display Group & The Bush Capital Band will be performing in the street throughout the day.

The Lachlan Living History Group will be performing a historical re-enactment in the main street.

Cobb & Co. Coach rides, guided tours including a tour of Gold Rush Graves at the local cemetery, and bush poetry recitations throughout the day.

The Art Gallery, Historical Society Museum and Wallangreen Sculpture Garden will all be open throughout the day.
