Deadline for the Weddin Shire Netwaste Waste to Art competition. Art work must be made of reused and recyclable waste material. Art forms can include furniture, sculpture, paintings, collages, drawings sculptures craftworks and wearable items. For more information contact Isabel on 63431212

53nd Henry Lawson Festival of Arts

Grenfell’s largest tourist event, the Henry Lawson Festival is one of the longest running festivals in New South Wales, with 2008 being its 51st year.

A weekend full of exciting activities for every age group. From art exhibits and literature competitions, live performances of poetry and busking to the street parade and carnival activities.

Guided horse rides each day, based at the showground each night. The five day muster involves relaxed horse rides which allows participants to take in the magnificent scenery of Grenfell's district.
